Thankfulness

As I sit here contemplating all of the good things in my life, I am moved to think about the many blessings we’ve received over the past year. We have been able to enjoy family near and far, good jobs that provide what we need, I finished graduate school and my husband got certified as a personal trainer, and now we have a new home. There are so many things, that it makes all of the things that are annoying and nuisances seem rather piddly in the grand scheme of things. I am grateful to have a husband to welcome home each evening, to enjoy a meal with most nights, to give me advice when I need it, to celebrate successes with, and his shoulder to cry one when I’m sad. As we approach this holiday season, no matter what is going on in your life, I encourage you to look at the good things and count your blessings. It may not all be good, but there are good things in there. Even for a little while, let’s count our blessings and be grateful for the things we have been provided. Happy Thanksgiving!
